Xbox One gamers might not have Super Mario Odyssey on the horizon, but with Rare on board at Microsoft, many people hoped they’d see a new Conker or Banjo Kazooie style game from that team at this years E3.
Rare, however, are still feverishly working on Sea Of Thieves, so 3D cartoon platformer duty falls upon Playful, who’ve announced Super Lucky’s Tale as an Xbox console exclusive, due out later this year.
Super Lucky’s Tale is the sequel to 2016’s Oculus Rift exclusive Lucky’s Tale, and is described as a “playground platformer for all ages”.
Join Lucky, the ever-optimistic, energetic, and lovable hero on his quest to find his inner strength and help his beloved sister rescue the Book of Ages from Jinx. Jinx, the scheming and mysterious villain, is trying to reshape the world…but for what reason?
Super Lucky’s Tale launches on Xbox One November 7, 2017. The title is “Xbox One X Enhanced”, and an Xbox Play Anywhere title – meaning it will also be available on Windows PC for those who purchase from the Xbox Store.
