Rocket League Was PSN’s Top Selling PlayStation 4 Game For 2016

Sony have taken to the PlayStation Blog and announced the digital top selling PlayStation 4 games of last year.

The European chart is as follows:

  1. Rocket League
  2. FIFA 17
  3. Battlefield 4
  4. Battlefield 1
  5. Destiny: Rise of Iron
  6. Grand Theft Auto V
  7. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
  8. Need for Speed
  9. Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition
  10. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
  11. Ark: Survival Evolved
  12. FIFA 16
  13. Battlefield Hardline
  14. Tom Clancy’s The Division
  15. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
  16. Hitman
  17. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
  18. Star Wars Battlefront
  19. Ratchet & Clank
  20. Far Cry Primal

Rocket League – a game many millions of us got for free thanks to PlayStation Plus – being number one is an amazing accomplishment, and naturally Call Of Duty, FIFA, Battlefield and Uncharted also sold well.

The US chart similarly sees Rocket League in the top spot, with Overwatch and No Man’s Sky also making appearances, while, surprisingly, not making Europe’s list.
