The lead writer on 2013’s Tomb Raider reboot the follow-up Rise Of The Tomb Raider, Rhianna Pratchett, has announced that she is leaving the series “to persue new adventures” away from Lara.
So, I’m packing up my climbing axe plus a little venison jerky for the road, and bidding a fond farewell to Lara. Onwards to new adventures!

The writer for the next game in the series, apparently called Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has yet to be announced. That game is seemingly being developed by Eidos Montreal, rather than Crystal Dynamics, the studio behind Tomb Raider and Rise.
Rhianna Pratchett’s previous works have included Mirror’s Edge, Heavenly Sword, and Overlord.
