Nintendo’s new console, Switch, looks like it’ll cost anywhere up to £299.99 here in the UK when it launches in March, if retailer Argos have their pre-order pricing correct.
A photograph showing the instore computer systems has appeared on reddit, leading to wild speculation. £300 is roughly £50 higher than previously rumoured, although of course, it’s easier for a retailer to lower pre-order prices than raise them, so this is almost certainly a cautious placeholder.
Elsewhere, there’s also rumours circulating that Zelda Breath Of The Wild wont make the Switch launch in Europe, although sources apparently in the know say otherwise.
I’m happy to wait until next Friday when Nintendo give us a proper look at the console, but in the meantime, if you want to know more, or are interested in the numerous Switch leaks and rumours, check out Laura Dale’s tweets @LaurakBuzz, or LetsPlayVideoGames.com – which has a fantastic roundup, and extensive ongoing coverage.
