From Software’s Dark Souls Might Be Headed To Nintendo Switch

Since the console was revealed in October, Nintendo Switch has created a buzz amongst gamers, and with a host of third party partners on board, many have been wondering exactly which games and franchises we’ll be playing on the system in the coming years.

Today, information regarding a hugely popular title has been made public, thanks to the folks at LetsPlayVideoGames.com. They’re reporting, via an undisclosed source within the company, that From Software – developers of the Dark Souls series – are looking to bring all three of those games to Switch.

According to one of our sources, From Software has Dark Souls 3 running on the Nintendo Switch with a level of performance they are happy with. They have not committed to releasing it yet, but discussions internally at the company have discussed the financial viability of re releasing the main three Dark Souls titles on the Switch with their DLC bundled in.

The report continues, stating that development has been underway for considerable time, with a small team working on the project. The suggestion is that Dark Souls 3 would launch on the Switch day-and-date with the DLC inclusive GOTY type edition hitting existing platforms.

  1. OMG this would be amazing! How great would it be if Nintendo allowed them to feature key Nintendo items and you could go through the game wielding weapons from the Legend of Zelda, or if they allowed From to design their own twisted, monstrous version of Bowser 😀
