Wii U Exclusive Lego City Undercover Is Getting A Multi Platform Re-Release

The formerly Wii U exclusive LEGO City Undercover is getting a multi platform relaunch, it’s been announced.

The game will not only jump forward a generation on Nintendo machines, hitting the Switch, but it’s also due on PlayStaion 4, Xbox One and PC in Spring 2017.

Originally released in 2013 LEGO City Undercover is much loved by those who’ve played it – sadly, being tied to the commercial flop of Nintendo’s Wii U means it never really got the player numbers it deserved.

There’s a lot of work to be done for the new port however, as the game was littered with Nintendo in-jokes which will now surely be removed, and the control scheme will also need tweaking, since the Wii U edition utilised the gamepad heavily for second-screen actions.
