Wired Productions, the Hertfordshire based production and publishing house behind the popular We Sing titles and more recently responsible for bringing Let’s Fish to the PlayStation Vita, have today unveiled their latest venture, eJay Pure via the crowdfunding website, Kickstarter.
In the late 90’s, the original eJay series of multi-track music creation games, crafted a generation of bedroom-bred drag-and-drop Armand Van Helden’s, and now, with your help, Wired Productions are looking to start it all again, on the move.
Already 9 months in the making, eJay Pure is aiming to launch as a free app on the Apple iOS App Store and Android’s Google Play at the tail end of this year, assuming the £150,000 (50%) public funding is reached within the next month.
For anyone who was a fan of the original games some fifteen plus years ago, there’s promising news in that the original eJay creators are back on board for Pure, with Helmut Schmitz and Bernhard Throll working alongside the team at Wired, who have a strong back catalogue of quality music titles.
If you’re one of those who may not have played an eJay game before, just head to YouTube, you’ll soon see what all the fuss is about.
As you can tell, I’m super excited by this announcement, and will be pledging right away, and recommend you do too – for all the information you need, including a rich feature listing and funding options, be sure you head over to the eJay Pure KickStarter page.
